教授科目及教學職責 Subjects Taught and Teaching Responsibilities
實習期間,我的任教班級是小二乙。他們的每一節課我都會在課室觀察、協助科任老師的教學以及學生們的學習需要。一般情況下,都是由科任老師教授課堂,然後在一些課堂任務中,我會輔導一些能力上需要幫助的學生。小息時,我通常也很少回到辦公室,因為休息的時間也不算太多。我會留在課室看看有沒有學生需要幫助,也不時處理一下他們向我投訴的事情。
在每天的大息時和午膳後,我都會去協助小一的SEN學生。主要是跟進她的寫手冊進度和輔導她完成功課。在過程中,我對於面對SEN學生的做法和態度也獲益良多。
During the internship, my teaching class was P2B. In every class, I will observe and assist the teachers in the classroom and the students' learning needs. In general, the class is taught by the subject teacher, and then in some classroom tasks, I will tutor some students who need help with their abilities. I usually did't go back to the office much during breaks because I did't have much time to rest. I would stay in the classroom to see if any students needed help, and from time to time I would deal with any complaints they made to me.
Every day during the big break and after lunch, I would go to assist the SEN students in P1B. I mainly follow up the progress of her manual writing and help her finish the homework. In the process, I also benefited a lot from the approach and attitude towards SEN students.

以下簡單解釋何謂「小小常識家」?
「小小常識家」這個活動是在事前先讓學生們在家中與家長共同尋找一些有趣,自己也有興趣嘗試的科學實驗,其後把它的實驗過程和原理寫在工作紙上並交由老師檢查可行性。在開始進行演示活動前,學生需要在先家中自行試驗該科學實驗是否成功,其後再把實驗工具帶回校並在課堂上向全班同學演示該實驗以及說出它的科學原理。
這個活動的分數佔考試分的40%!

What is a "Little Science Person"?
The activity of "Little Science Person" first allows students to find some interesting scientific experiments at home with their parents, and then write down the experimental process and principle on a worksheet and submit it to the teacher to check the feasibility. Before starting the demonstration, students are required to test the success of the science experiment with parents at home, then bring the experimental tools back to school and demonstrate the experiment and explain its scientific principles to the class.
This activity counts for 40% of their exam score!

個人教學理念
環境絕對是一個促使學生能否全心全意投入在學校中學習的要點。學校佔據了孩子前半生中一段說長不長,說短不短的時間。一個良好的學習氛圍,是孩子們身心健康成長的踏腳石。我希望在我教育下的孩子,都能夠有一個愉快的童年。教育不只是盲目地傳授知識。使學生發自內心擁有對求學的熱枕,相比起只了為考試升班的求知欲,快樂更為重要。愉快學習,健康成長是我對教學的宗旨。
每個孩子都是獨立的個體,他們都有自己的特點和學習方式。以學生為本,「以孩子心做孩子事」。我希望在教育路上能夠幫助學生們找到自己的長處,展現自己的自信心和價值。連老師都看不起學生的時候,學生自己又怎會找到自己的價值呢?當一個人沒有了自信和尊嚴,做甚麼事情總是力不從心做不好;當一個擁有自信,做任何事情都能得心應手。
品德是奠定一個人的基礎。當孩子們擁有良好的態度和價值觀時,絕對是奠定人健康成長和全人發展的基礎。我希望在教學的同時也能灌輸給學生良好的人生觀念,培養一個謙卑有禮,懂得欣賞他人、尊重他人的社會棟樑。
教學方法
以學生為中心。現在的教育鼓勵學生懂得自我思考,培養批判思維。僅以老師的單方面授課已難以展現這種風格。教學應該根據學生的需求、興趣和學習風格進行調整,鼓勵學生主動參與學習。老師要懂得從學生的角度出發,學生喜歡甚麼?學生樂於參與怎樣的課堂? 老師從教學的過程中觀察不同學生的學習需要,並給予其適合的學習方案,讓他們找到學習上的成功感,這也是使他們找到自信和開心的做法。
合作學習。無論是讀書抑或是工作,很多事情都講求團體合作。當一群人沒有團隊精神,那麼事情是很難做好的。從小培養學生透過小組活動和合作項目,促進學生之間的互動與協作,提升他們的社交技能和團體合作能力。同時在團隊合作的工作中找到合適的溝通方法,學會聆聽、學會思考、學會批判、學會尊重,這也是人在一生中永遠都在使用的技能。
情感教育。除了基本的學術知識外,品格也是孩子在成長的過程中需要持續學習的事情。良好的品德教育有助於孩子的身心成長,重視學生的情感和社會技能,培養他們的同理心、自信心和情緒管理能力,這是在任何時候,任何地方都需要用到的社交技能。
反思性實踐。人不懂得反思,那麼就很難進步。在學校中,老師和學生也是同步在不斷學習的。老師和學生定期反思自己的學習和教學過程,從中提取經驗教訓,持續改進。 不僅能提升教學質量,還能增強學生的學習動機和成就感,為他們的全面發展打下良好基礎。
學生成為課堂的主人 ,共同學習,對於課堂上是不難實施的,重要的是老師是否願意透過這樣的方式讓學生們主動學習。 在課堂上,知識教育和生命教育是可以同時並存的。課文的文字是靈活生動的,老師是否能從文字中把學生帶領到不同的思考方式,傳遞出品德情意,人生觀和價值觀,這是需要老師擔任懂得全面思考的角色。也是我需要持續學習的一部分。
Personal teaching concept
The environment is definitely an important factor in whether students can devote themselves to their studies at school. School occupies a period of time in the first half of a child's life that is not long, not short. A good learning atmosphere is a stepping stone for the healthy growth of children. I hope that the children under my education can have a happy childhood. Education is not just the blind transfer of knowledge. It is more important for students to have a genuine enthusiasm for learning than to have a desire to advance to an exam. Happy learning, healthy growth is my teaching purpose.
Every child is an individual with their own characteristics and learning styles. Student-oriented, "do children's things with children's hearts". I hope to help students find their strengths and show their confidence and value on the way to education. When even teachers look down on students, how can students find their own value? When a person has no self-confidence and dignity, what to do is always powerless to do well; When a person has self-confidence, he can do anything with ease.
Character is the foundation of a person. When children have good attitudes and values, it is absolutely the foundation for healthy growth and whole-person development. I hope that while teaching, I can also instill in my students a good concept of life, and cultivate a humble and polite person who knows how to appreciate and respect others.
Teaching method
Student-centered. Today's education encourages students to think for themselves and develop critical thinking. It is difficult to show this style by teaching alone. Teaching should be tailored to the needs, interests and learning styles of students and encourage active participation in learning. Teachers should understand from the perspective of students, what do students like? What kind of classes do students enjoy participating in? In the process of teaching, teachers observe the learning needs of different students and give them appropriate learning plans, so that they can find a sense of success in learning, which is also a way to make them feel confident and happy.
Cooperative learning. Whether in school or at work, many things require teamwork. When a group of people do not have team spirit, then it is difficult to do things well. Group activities and collaborative projects promote interaction and collaboration among students from an early age to enhance their social skills and teamwork. At the same time, to find the right communication methods in the work of teamwork, learn to listen, learn to think, learn to criticize, learn to respect, which is also a skill that people will always use in their life.
Emotional education. In addition to basic academic knowledge, character is also something that children need to continue to learn as they grow. Good character education contributes to the physical and mental growth of children, values the emotional and social skills of students, and develops their empathy, self-confidence and emotional management skills, which are social skills that need to be used at any time, anywhere.
Reflective practice. People do not know how to reflect, then it is difficult to progress. In school, teachers and students are learning simultaneously. Teachers and students regularly reflect on their own learning and teaching processes, draw lessons from them, and continuously improve. It can not only improve the quality of teaching, but also enhance students' motivation and sense of achievement, and lay a good foundation for their all-round development.
It is not difficult for the students to become the masters of the classroom and learn together. What is important is whether the teachers are willing to let the students take the initiative to learn in this way. In the classroom, knowledge education and life education can coexist simultaneously. The text of the text is flexible and vivid. Whether the teacher can lead the students to different ways of thinking from the text, and convey the moral sentiments, outlook on life and values, this requires the teacher to play the role of knowing how to think comprehensively. It's also part of my ongoing learning.
